Dear Dad

Thank you for coming I had lots of fun and I hope you did too.

My highlights were watching  a movie. We watched Home alone 2. It was funny to watch the movie. We made movie cars I made mine like a carriage and helped my friend make the same as me. Mine was yellow and pink it looked like a cat car.

I had my friends  in the with me me in the  

What was  challenging for me was making the cars. They were fun  to make. Staying up was hard and walking in the river was hard .  

What helped me to cope was I had my friends with me and the  

parents  with us.

Five Things About Me  

I love watch  movies. My favorite  movie is Home.  

I love to play with my friends because they have great  ideas and  they  are fun toplay with.  

I love  roses because  they  smell nice and they look lovely 

 I love baking because they taste so good and it keeps in  your memory when you get older. 

I  Love baby animals because they are so cute and cuddly and I love watching   them walk.

Room twelve have been learning about Jack Marsden- Mayer  and  he makes driftwood  art.  We have made one as well, we made one, you could do love, sky and beach and all the other cool things he has made.  These are all the ones he has, I hope you enjoy  it.

Animal band reader's theater

Success Criteria:

On Friday the 4th of September, Room Twelve performed a play to the whole school. It was called The Animal Band. We could play as:  
a cat 
a dog  
a rooster
or a robber.

 We also had two people to say the welcoming part and three people to tell the story.  Everybody clapped and Mr G said that the speakers spoke clearly and loudly, he liked Kaedyn's expression. It was very funny.     
         

We should not allow pets in school - Term 3 Week 4

WALT persuade other students to agree with our opinion.  This the purpose for my writing.

Success Criteria:

1. I plan for a writing task
2. I write a variety of sentence lengths with different sentence starters
3. Give reasons with detail - use specific words
4. I write most topic and high frequency words correctly.
5. I use capital letters, fullstops, question marks and exclamation marks correctly.
6. Use persuasive language

Pets should not be allowed in school.            

I think pets should not be allowed in school.

     

The pets could get lost jumping through a window and they can also get lost on the roofs from a ladder on the other side  of the school and then they had to live there or they can get lost in the class back room at school.     

The classrooms will be full of pets as well.  

                                                

Another reason could be pets could chase you out of the school and make you get lost far away from school. They could chase you around the whole school and make you dizzy and get sick for a long time and they can chase you into the back room and make you get stuck for a long time.        

                                                

Also, when it is maths time, the pets can stop you from really important learning. They can stop you from a game and get you hit in the head by a ball or you can look one way and trip over.  If  someone gives you your computer and you drop it because a kitten trips you up, you are going to  be sad.  

Therefore, I strongly believe that Pets should not be allowed in schools.
